The magnificent Sedona model is the cheapest reel to incorporate HAGANE Gear technology. This provides smoothness, power and durability, even after countless battles with big fish. With its excellent value for money and the reliability of Shimano's engineering, Sedona is a great choice if you're looking for a combination of affordability and technology. You will certainly appreciate the power and smoothness of the HAGANE Gear, which will maintain its performance much longer than competitor reels of the same price. And in use, the G Free Body provides better balance in the hand, which results in less fatigue and more pleasure, especially for beginner fishermen. The Sedona series includes models for everything, from light freshwater to heavier sea fish, thanks to improved brake power and higher ratios. The 8000 model incorporates Shimano's stronger Cross Carbon brake, to deal with more powerful species. To maximize casting distance and improve line management, Sedona uses Shimano's Varispeed II winding system, which prevents the line from jamming on the spool. The AR-C aluminum spool minimizes line friction during casting. And just when you thought things couldn't get better, Sedona also features an aluminum handle for added strength and lightness. Evidence that even though Sedona is very affordable, no detail has been overlooked in its design and construction.
