Following its LT and LT ARK versions, the Certate is now available in a SW (Salt Water) version. Enthusiastically received by sea anglers, the Certate has become a benchmark for compact, robust, and powerful spinning reels. The arrival of the Certate SW available from sizes 8000 to 18000, the Certate family is now adjusted to a complete range that we offer to sea fishing enthusiasts from bass to tuna.

Power and toughness
The true successor to the Catalina, the Certate SW is equipped with the Monocoque housing, just like Saltiga 20. This one-piece aluminum machined structure gives the Certate SW solidity and great robustness. Monocoque Body also enables the reel to be equipped with a large Tough Digigear drive gear, with many teeth for a significant power gain. Another common feature with the Saltiga 20: the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) brake ratchet is very loud to allow the angler to adjust the button precisely, not to mention the increased fishing pleasure. Sensations guaranteed!

Light and smooth
Thanks to its ZAION carbon Air Rotor, the reel's rotation is smoothed, lighter: a real comfort gain for strong fishing enthusiasts. A Magsealed bearing in the pick-up roller and Magsealed oil around the reel's main shaft improve the Certate SW's seal against corrosive salt elements. During retrieval, the rotation comfort is unique. When fighting, the roller provides perfect smoothness not to disturb the progressiveness of the ATD brakes.

Combat handles
The fast ratio models (H and XH models) are equipped with an oval handle that is soft to the touch and has excellent grip for serenely leading the fights with the biggest specimens. The slow-ratio models (P models) are equipped with a round EVA handle, particularly suitable for vertical fishing.

The Certate SW, therefore places itself as a perfect compromise between the Saltiga 20 and the Certate LT 19. It is a front brake reel tailored for active and fast casting fishing. Perfect for braving the tunas on our coasts and for the exotic fishing of powerful fish: tunas, jacks, etc.
