The AV8000 Avid reel is a compact reel perfect for roaming fishing as well as long-distance fishing.

Its conical spool offers little friction of the nylon on casting and its large capacity allows it to be equipped with thick nylon. The AV8000 has a quick system front brake allowing you to switch from a so-called "free running" mode to a combat brake in less than one turn.

Equipped with 7 stainless steel ball bearings and 1 roller bearing, which provide the AV8000 with smooth and incredible performance, but also help to give it unmatched durability and strength.

The AV8000 has a CNC aluminum handle finished with an ergonomic rubber handle, providing power and good grip.

The other features included are a wide pick-up, a stainless steel axle, a very robust body and rotor, which allow the AV8000 to be solid for any challenges it may encounter.
