Characteristics:
• Lens protection filter suitable for the TSN 55 Prominar range
• Equipped with anti-reflective and anti-humidity treatment
• Ideal in specific dusty, humid or coastal conditions

The Kowa TP-58FT filter allows to protect the pure fluorine crystal lens of spotting scopes, telephoto lenses, and High Lander binoculars from the TSN-880 series by Kowa.

Featuring hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings, it is the ideal accessory for all owners of these high-end optics.

Difficult environments such as sand and salt on the coast, an accidental fall of a tripod, or contact with a sharp object can damage the most sensitive and precious part of a spotting scope: the lens. These phenomena often cause irreparable damage to the coatings and the lens itself.

Damage to the front lens of the objective can significantly reduce the optical performances of your scope and are one of the most expensive repairs to carry out, especially if you own a Kowa model with pure fluorine crystal. Often, the only option is to completely replace the front objective lens, which is very costly.

This type of damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which implies a long and costly repair.

Kowa recommends the use of a protection filter to protect a Kowa spotting scope. All Kowa spotting scopes are equipped with a filter holder ring (a feature that is often not included in models from other manufacturers) allowing the connection of a filter. This accessory significantly reduces the risk of lens damage, avoids costly repairs, and ultimately prolongs the life and enjoyment of your spotting scope.
