The 580 concept:
Costa Del Mar's patented “580TM” polarizing glass and polycarbonate block the yellow light spectra whose frequency approaches 580TM nanometers. Indeed, the yellow spectra are the most tiring for the sight. They also limit the blue spectrum to decrease the sensation of "blur". Conversely, the 580TM increases the visual volume of red and green resulting in improved contrasts and less visual fatigue, whatever the light conditions.

The LightWAVE 580G glass:
The LightWAVETM 580G glass is 20% thinner and 22% lighter than other glasses offered by our competitors. Practically unscratchable, the LightWAVETM will give you years of perfect vision, even in the toughest use conditions. 100% polarizing and 100% UV Block

The C-WALL 580P polycarbonate:
The 580P polycarbonate is lighter than glass and virtually unbreakable. Even after a violent shock, the 580P polycarbonate will never crack. The C-WALLTM coating applied to 580P polycarbonate glasses increases scratch resistance, repels water, grease (especially from fingers), and dust. 100% polarizing and 100% UV Block.

Co-injected frames:
Costa frames are made with extremely strong and durable TR-90 nylon. The TM-90 nylon is co-injected with HydroliteTM coating. This hypoallergenic silicone provides great comfort and prevents the glasses from slipping, even in hot and humid weather.

Stainless hinges: All Costa glasses hinges are made of stainless steel to resist corrosion.

Lens colors:
• Copper (12% light transmission): Perfect for all freshwater fishing, the Copper increases contrasts and improves underwater vision, even in poor light conditions. Copper has all the advantages of 'older generation' yellow lenses without their drawbacks (visual fatigue...).

• Gray (10% light transmission): This is the ideal color for all sea fishing, both in France and exotic. The Grey is also suitable for freshwater fishing in very strong light conditions (alpine lakes...).
