The individual compressive bandage of the Swiss Army of 4" (10 cm) is a very compact single-pack bandage. It is indicated for the management of severe hemorrhagic wounds, particularly for emergencies. It is applicable with one hand, it has a handle that allows the injured limb to be inserted (to prevent it from spinning in place). The handle also serves as a bite strap for one-handed placement on the upper arm in "self application". Thanks to its two-slot pressure applicator, the dressing will be stable in rotation on the limb and stable in sliding towards the distal end of the limb. It will allow a pressure and counterpressure to be balanced over the entire circumference of the limb or body.
