Power Thread Small line in technical polymer with an extremely high breaking strain relative to its diameter. Up to ten times higher than steel of the same diameter. It is adapted for mounting flies requiring a very strong but thin line. Versatile thread that covers a wide range of uses, from smooth and uniform underbodies to attaching hard materials such as elk and deer hair, through to the ability to split it to form a dubbing loop without doubling the line. Available in black (a solid colour that does not fade with use) and in natural white that can be easily coloured with a waterproof permanent marker. Its size allows the mounting of underbodies on medium-sized hooks and small streamers. • 100 metre spool • 50 denier • 2.20 kg breaking strain • Recommended for hooks from #8 to #18 • The use of a spool with a ceramic tip is recommended.
