Power Thread Medium made from technical polymer with an extremely high breaking strain compared to its diameter. Up to ten times greater than steel of the same diameter. It is suitable for tying medium and large size flies where a very strong but thin thread is required. Thanks to their calibrated twist, the fibres remain well bound while staying very flat and smooth, allowing the creation of very uniform, bump-free under-bodies and heads. Available in red, black (solid colours that do not fade with use), and natural white which can be easily coloured with a permanent marker. Perfect for medium to large sized flies, where strength must be coupled with the filling properties of the thread. As it is a very slippery polymer, it is recommended to use it in combination with cyanoacrylate glue before the crucial stages of the fly tying process. • 100 meter spool • 100 deniers • Breaking strain of 3.80 kg. • The use of a spool with a ceramic tip is recommended.
