Kickers may just be a simple piece of folded rubber, but it's often the simplest things that have the biggest impact on fishing, and these Kickers are designed to enhance the hooking potential of a multitude of different setups.

The curved hook was incredibly effective at hooking into a fish's mouth, but it also caused a lot of damage, so much so that for many years, anglers have been using pieces of heat shrink tubing to replicate this effect. Kickers deliver the same result, but all you need to do is slide one onto the hook's eye, without the fuss of any steaming.

They are also perfect for spinner rigs and we now offer an XL version which can be used with our new Spinner Swivels XX. Some anglers want to camouflage their setup as much as possible, and the green or brown version is perfect for this, but on some sites, a bright coloured piece of tubing on the hook can actually make it more likely to be taken - there are also mixed red/white and yellow/pink versions, if you want to add a touch of colour to your setup. Additionally, for anglers who use natural baits such as maggots and casters or who regularly fish in mud where bloodworms are prevalent, the latest addition to the Kicker range is the Bloodworm Red version.

All the Kickers, regardless of their colour, are made of sturdy rubber, with four different sizes to suit the hook you are using - small for sizes 10 and 12; medium for sizes 6 and 8; large for sizes 2 and 4 and the XL version for sizes 1 and 2, all perfectly fit onto the eye and the shank of the hook. When you strike a fish, the Kicker straightens out during the fight, but then returns to its original shape and is ready to be used again.
