The lead weight "John Weight" is a quick little trick to quickly change the swimming depth of a lure of type (minnow, jerkbait, big bait, swimbait, squid jig). With its "fragmentation grenade" shape, the design of its checkered hull helps to hold the stainless steel rod and thus minimising the risk of losing your weight during the casting phases, animations or during the fight with the fish. Simply place the "John Weight" weight on the eyelet that determines the centre of gravity of your lure and you will be able to fish deeper. Another trick, the "John Weight" will also be suitable as a weight for drop-shot rigging.
