What came up quickly and often was the need for a reliable steel blade that could take a hit and hold an edge - enter 9Cr steel. Selected specifically for its toughness, corrosion resistance and edge retention, the blade is also mirror polished for added protection and easy cleaning. The Controller is built with a full-tang steel blade for rugged and safe use in slippery situations.

Finding your grip on a slippery fish can be tricky, your fillet knife shouldn't be. On a mountain bank, floating kayak or Everglade swamp, adventure fishermen demand more grip from their fillet knife. Integrated directly into the handle itself, the GuideFins™ provide a solid place for your thumb and unmatched control for smooth, safe cuts.
