The Hydro Monster Shot Yo-Zuri is a jig minnow with a record density (40 g for 9.5 cm!) Combined with its aerodynamic streamlined shape, it was designed to reach exceptional casting distances! Thanks to its specific profile and protruding lower lip, this lure offers great versatility of swimming styles.
On simple linear retrieval, it has a very chalouped S swimming style. With a low center of gravity, it sinks horizontally oscillating on its axis while alternately presenting each of its flanks. This very pronounced rolling on descent, mimicking a dying prey, is highly attractive to all predators! At the slightest twitch, it makes a sharp lateral shift and on a succession of jerks, it can even swim "walking the dog" under water. Handled by faster pulls in the subsurface, it even occasionally jumps just out of the film like a fish fleeing.
With its long casting ranges, it is perfect for reaching difficult approach zones (eg: rock heads) or to stay at a respectable distance from a hunt! It is also appreciated by beach fishermen (eg: gutters) or any of those practicing from rocky coasts (cliffs in shore jigging). Ultra dense, this lure can be easily thrown impressive distances - even with the thickest lines (eg: up to 50 / 80 lb) With a full-through frame and 3 X strong iron triples, the Hydro Monster Shot Yo-Zuri is also ideal for all extreme fishing – from red tuna on hunts in France to those of the largest exotic predators!
