The Kamo Kontour is the ultimate abrasion-resistant fluorocarbon leader for fishing in tough situations. This Kontour is extremely tough and durable, and is therefore less likely to be damaged when it comes up against weed beds, mussels or any other abrasive obstacle.
Its density is greater than that of monofilament and it sinks extremely quickly, which helps to keep the line close to the set up. The two-tone kamo colouring allows it to blend into nearly all lake beds, even when sediments build up on the line. Due to the thickness of this material, it is best used in short range fishing situations or for placing set-ups using a boat. Although this product was developed as a heavy leader, the properties of the fluorocarbon are perfectly suited to creating stiff hooklinks, particularly those requiring a stiff boom. To crimp this product, use a 0.7mm Large Krimp.
