Its short length of 10 feet (3.05 m) and its neat blank are perfect for casting accuracy at short distances up to 25 meters. This rod works well with Shorty Pellet Wagglers, Puddle Chuckers and similar floaters up to 8 g. The compact design also brings fish closer at the netting stage.
It's a great choice for quality fishing of fish of all sizes, but it is mainly designed for tench, F1 and medium-sized carp up to 10 lb and more. A thin blank and semi-through action really help in casting and fishing the fish and also help keep the hook pulls to a minimum.
This rod is ideally suited for reel lines from 4 lb (1.8 kg) to 7 lb (3.2 kg) and hook lengths of 3 lb 8 oz (0.15 mm) to 6 lb (0.18 mm).
The blank is finished in the Red Range burgundy shade, the trademark of Drennan, with a handle in cork and duplon, a screw reel seat and a neat holding ring. A practical two-part design allows it to be assembled and folded in seconds.
