With shaft lengths available up to 254 cm, installation possibilities on larger vessels are possible. Available in 24 / 36 volts with a reinforced motor and mount, a more precise GPS function and even an eco mode to prolong battery life, the Riptide Terrova QUEST is ready to face the elements.

QUEST technology equips this new series benefiting from advanced developments in electric propulsion thanks to in the rotors. The motor gains in autonomy with a runtime increased up to 30%.
Performance is not left out with a gain of up to 50% for 24v motors and 30% for 36v motors for better manoeuvrability and navigation in extreme conditions (weedbeds).

Improved GPS system: the most reliable navigation system in fishing. The motor uses GPS to control your engine with unmatched features. Set Spot-Locks, record routes, control speed and direction, ... Minn Kota makes boat positioning and control automatic, while taking commands from the engine's wireless remote.
Drift mode: Today, fishermen must constantly fight against environmental conditions in order to maintain a constant speed and heading. Drift mode uses both the heading hold and speed control simultaneously to manage boat control. Fishermen no longer need a drift anchor or other aids to control the movement of the boat.
Spot-Lock: Function allowing to stabilize your boat around a point memorized in the remote control (or in the combination). The motor is autonomous to compensate for the effects of wind, current, etc…
AutoPilot: The accuracy of your GPS allows the boat to maintain the predefined direction while correcting the effects of drift due to the current or wind.
Stow Deploy System: The lift/deployment system allows, with a simple press on its handle, to slide the Terrova into the water. Lifting is done just as easily, the circuit breaker stops your engine. The secure stowing and deploying method of the Riptide Terrova QUEST slightly differs between short shaft and long shaft motors.
Short shaft motors with a shaft length of 152.4 cm have only a depth adjustment collar, which is used to adjust the depth of the motor when deployed. When stowing the motor, the depth adjustment collar is placed against the direction housing for safe stowage.
Long shaft motors with a shaft length of 182.9 cm, 221 cm or 254 cm are equipped with a stowage lock collar, a coiled cord slide and a depth adjustment collar. On long shaft motors, the depth adjustment collar works to maintain the motor at the correct depth when it is deployed. The stowage lock collar is unlocked to allow the shaft to move freely during stowage and deployment. Once the motor is stowed, the stowage lock collar is locked for secure stowage. The stowage lock collar can also be locked to keep the motor at the appropriate depth when deployed in shallow water. Battery gauge: all information on consumption and autonomy in use from a HUMMINBIRD combined device. An alarm sounds when the autonomy drops below 20%.
