The Haswing Cayman-B model 80 Lbs GPS L152 version G1.5 is mounted at the front of the boat and is not only equipped with a classic remote control but also a GPS function to be used with your Apple or Android smartphone. This engine thus provides perfect maneuverability wherever you are on your boat. Its powerful 24-volt motor allows you to navigate calmly in all waters and thanks to its tilting system, the engine is lifted out of the water with a simple hand movement. The lights on its battery charge indicator allow you to check your autonomy at a glance.
The remote control of the Cayman-B 80 Lbs GPS L152 version G1.5 offers the Anchor function.
Delivered as standard with its manual wireless remote control (like the CaymanB 80 Lbs)
Optional (not included in delivery): Quick Release plate / foot control (pedal)

To use the functions of the Cayman B 80 lbs GPS version G1.5 L152, you need to download the HELMSMAN app (free) from the Apple or Android application download banks (operating syst.: from IOS 8 and Android 4.3 +) and synchronize it with your engine by wifi. From then on, you can use all the features of your engine.

GPS:
To use the functions of the Cayman B 55 lbs GPS Version G1.5, you need to download the HELMSMAN application (free) from the Apple or Android download banks (operating system: from IOS 8 and Android 4.3 +) and synchronize it with your engine by wifi. Then you will be able to use all the functionalities of your engine.

On your smartphone, the visual icons indicate:
a) WIFI connection with your engine
b) GPS reception quality (white: not connected - red: low - yellow: strong - green: excellent)
NB: the operation of the engine in GPS mode depends on the quality of the signal received on the site where you are (satellite positioning, natural barriers such as mountains or forests …)
c) Speed (in km/h)
d) Engine speed (0 to 10)
e) Battery charge status
f) Compass function
g) Map in map format or Google Earth

and thus allow you to control the functions:
a) Start, stop
b) Engine speed, increase, deceleration (0 to10)
c) Port side starboard direction control

GPS functions:
• Speed regulator in GPS mode only (allows you to adjust your speed to the point you have determined)
• Path recording
• Navigation for path creation (in GPS mode only)
• Anchoring: allows an automatic return to the anchor of your boat's bow to compensate for drift according to the GPS signal

NB: Position holding depends on currents and winds, for optimized position holding, positioning the bow facing the wind and current is necessary before the anchoring system is activated. The use on a body of water with turning current or winds turning in enclosed sites makes positioning random, the engine will effectively be constantly required to catch up the drifts.
We remind you that the return to anchor is not a dynamic positioning system. Only a dynamic positioning system with a hydroacoustic type (PRS) or GPS-based laser system (Fanbeam and Cyscan) with combined actuators, bow thruster + front thruster + rear thrusters with position sensors, anemometers, accelerometers (inertial centers) and gyroscopic compass managed by computer system, can fix a ship in its position relative to the bottom.
