The Egist SSD range is a series of rods specially designed by Tailwalk for cephalopod fishing in bichi bachi with modern lures. Ultra light and perfectly balanced, their superior progressive action will enable you to skilfully handle your egi squids with jerks for long hours without fatigue. Designed to withstand the most forceful handling, they nonetheless offer extreme resonance and high sensitivity to detect the most subtle touches of cephalopods. On bite and during combat, the rod's high progressivity right to the heel will limit disconnects to a maximum. Despite their lightness and their impressive sensitivity, these rods are a must for all eging enthusiasts!
Despite its lightness (105 g ), the Egist SSD 81M is powerful and can handle egis up to size #4.5! This rod is perfect for the prospection of large areas with quick jerking, deep fishing or in the presence of currents. It's the top choice for the biggest squids while still maintaining enough flexibility to prevent dropping the smaller specimens.
