The Superior Spin catfish spinning rod is the result of months of precise work between the team of fishermen, product managers and experienced engineers. It is ideal for use in all waters with medium to heavy spinning baits and artificial baits for large catfish. During the test phase alone, several fish over 220 cm were caught, with one exceptional fish of 259 cm. Thanks to its light weight, the rod is very comfortable in the hand and can easily cast large artificial lures 200 grams over long distances.
The shortest boat model is ideal for relentless fishing from the boat, while the two longest models are perfect for use from the bank. The two longer models are excellent for use from the bank. Particularly, the 300 cm model shows its assets when it comes to guiding the lure over high edges, mussel beds or sandbanks at a distance. The tip has been specially designed to feel the trajectory of the bait and easily detect by the catfish. However, towards the back, the semi-parabolic rod has untamed power that can stand up to catfish. The rough blank allows an easy grip change during the fight and has proven to be very practical for hand catching the fish. Equipped with high-quality Seaguide rings and a FUJI DPSM ultra-resistant reel seat, on a ultra-high density carbon blank, this rod is a real gem. This rod is a centrepiece of the Uni Cat range and enriches the already very successful Superior series.
