It's also lighter and has an EVA foam handle with a non-slip coating that's easy to clean. The Close Combat is the recommended rod for vertical catfish fishing from a boat or a float tube. Ultra-sensitive and perfectly balanced, this rod has a large power reserve to secure hooksets and fight the largest catfish specimens.
