The flagship Game Type J range offers specific models for slow jigging fishing designed for anglers around the world. With blanks enriched with Shimano Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X, the Game Type J jigging fishing rods offer exceptional fishing performance when using lures such as Shimano's Butterfly jigs.
Jig fishing has now established itself as one of the most effective methods to catch aggressive saltwater predators and if you are one of the many fishermen exploiting its potential, the Game Type J and Type Slow J models are the perfect tools for you. Type J models have a moderate fast action that will allow you to animate your lures with remarkable precision, while Type Slow J models have a moderate-slow action perfectly designed for slow pitch presentations.
The Game Type J range integrates Shimano's cutting-edge technology to create rods that enhance overall jigging performance by offering exceptional power and sensitivity. Incorporating Shimano Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X technologies to increase the power in the rod, while reducing the rod's twist under load, there are two types of action designed for normal jigging and slow pitch jigging. As can be expected from a range of such high quality, all models are equipped with the best Fuji SiC rings and a custom-designed Shimano Ci4 reel seat mounted on a double grip EVA handle. To target both pelagic fish and reef fish, there is nothing better than the Game Type J from Shimano.
