The Curado reel family has been around for years and rightly so. Each version has offered a balance between cost and performance, and the Curado is no different. As tough as a tank, with the performance of a sports car, the 200/201 is the reference reel for general performance and offers standard, powerful, and high-speed retrieval options. There are many variants of the Curado family and the Curado 200/201 size is the most extensive, covering a wide range of styles and lure sizes. Featuring some of Shimano's best technologies, and designed with a low-profile design that fits perfectly on the rod, you will immediately feel at home with your Curado 200/201. They cast well, they are robust and smooth, and fight like devils when the pressure mounts. All Curado 200/201 models feature a sturdy black matte aluminum HAGANE body. But don't let its unassuming looks (which suits any rod) fool you, inside hides a powerful gear up to the toughest challenge. All models feature X-SHIP technology and Micromodule gearing to enhance the smoothness of rotation. The inclusion of a powerful Cross Carbon Drag says a lot about power, which is particularly visible on the high-torque Power Gear (PG) model. As for casting, an S3D spool reducing vibrations is controlled by SVS Infinity braking, which is simple to adjust and easy to use.
