The Caius is the entry-level reel for beginner anglers in casting. With a fantastic value for money, it is a compact, durable and versatile reel that will handle the majority of lures of common size in the 10-60g range, making it perfect for all predators, from the small perch to the large pike. The body of the Caius is constructed from Shimano's XT-7 composite, which is robust enough to overcome accidental shocks and the spool is manufactured from the high-quality aluminium used on top-end models. For beginners, the VBS braking system features an improved design to avoid bird nests and guarantee hooksets.
