When modernity and "old school" collide! These newcomers to our fishing rod range have been created in a spirit of nostalgia, reviving the looks, actions and styles of yesteryear... but with modern, cutting-edge materials and fittings. The actions of these rods have been dramatically dialed in, offering a soft, deep action to help you absorb the powerful surges of wild carp fighting fiercely, yet having enough reserve to confidently tackle them if needed - the memories are already flooding back... The Old Skool rods are made from high-modulus, tapered carbon blanks with an anti-reflective finish. They are also fitted with elegant gun smoke aluminium reel seats, which contrast beautifully with the full cork, laser-engraved collars and sleeves along the handle. They are finished with lightweight and strong MM series rings and anti-frap tip rings... but in the tradition, style and layout of the old school.
