The new Shimano Kairiki 4 is a braid made from 4 strands, produced in Japan and equipped with the "VT construction Method" braiding technology. This is a very strong and smooth PE line that is perfect for long distance casting. It's available in diameters ranging from 0.06 mm to 0.315 mm with an astonishing break strength of 29.8 kg. It possesses the perfect properties for fresh and sea water spinning because it's very sensitive and very smooth, which also helps reduce noise. In addition to the Mantis Green and Steel Grey, two other colours will be available, notably a very visible Orange and a Multi Color. The Multi Color is particularly interesting for deep-sea fishing. Thanks to its softness and its small diameter, the Kairiki 4 is an excellent line for jig fishing, as it offers low water resistance and, due to its maximum elongation of < 3.0 %, it is also very sensitive.
