With the Delkim Txi-D and Rx-D, a new generation of alarms is dawning. And these are not just compact and redesigned versions… No, they have included some really cool new features and have moved to a whole new digital system.

The alarms have really been designed from scratch and include a new shape as well as better protection against the weather. Looking at the new alarms, you will immediately notice that the compact heads now have push buttons instead of the old on/off switch. They can also be used to change various settings of the digital system.

Additionally, there are two wheels that handle the volume and sensitivity settings. Thus, you set the sensitivity level to the value you want. You will increase or decrease the sensitivity. It is a bit like the old sensitivity change with a great improvement. The Txi-D now has digital signal processing that has allowed Delkim to create another new setting called Beep Speed.
There are 8 different beep speed levels. When using the previous Delkim, you already had a lot of room to play with the sensitivity of the alarm. But what tends to happen in the positive switch setting and higher sensitivity levels is that in some situations, it can become a bit too sharp. A small pull could already create the "chirping" sound for which the alarms are known. It was, therefore, hard to hear the difference between a proper touch or even a simple pull. You knew you had a touch and it was more accurate than the magnet wheels but still not optimal in our opinion.

During development, Beep Speed was one of the key features and Delkim has managed to create something revolutionary. The alarms will be set the same way as the previous Txi alarms. The Txi-D gives you the ability to customize it and change it as you want so that it pulls even more out of the vibration detection. If you lower the beep speed, the alarm can still be used in a sensitive setting, but without immediately turning into "chirping". You decrease the beep speed according to your personal preferences and the situation.

The new Txi-D alarms also offer the ability to change the brightness of the LEDs, switch from a day setting to a night setting and adjust the ringtone with 64 options to choose from. And there's even a patented IMU security motion sensor built into the head that helps secure your setup. If someone tries to move the alarm, it will trigger the anti-theft alarm on the receiver.

Of course, it is not just the alarms that have been changed. The new Rx-D receiver also operates in fully digital mode and offers increased range, battery life, and performance. And there are some nice features added to the compact receiver. One of these is the NPD. It's short for "Do Not Disturb" and it's for situations where suddenly a storm comes in, the wind starts to blow very hard and the rain starts to fall. To avoid false beeps without having to leave the comfort of your bivvy, you can easily press the buttons to turn on the NPD. From now on, all individual beeps will be ignored, but when an activation lasts 4 seconds or more, the receiver will give you a normal indication.

Another new setting is Runlight. When you get a hit like a single beep nothing will happen. But when it rings for 4 seconds or more, all LEDs light up to give you plenty of light to find the essentials before leaving the biwy.

The receiver now has 3 different range levels. It's ready to go, it's on the everyday normal mode, giving you plenty of room. In a straight line, it has been tested over 700 meters, although we do not recommend being so far from your rods. Of course, conditions at the water's edge will impact the overall extent of fishing, but you can be sure to do what you want, without missing a touch.

A short range option has also been added. By turning it on, you reduce the receiver's range to about 50 meters. Perfect for when you are near the rods. Using the short range option will also maximize your battery life.
You can also choose to put the range in Boost mode. This gives you an extra 15 to 20% range over normal mode and gives you more space in case you should be further away from the rods while for example being in an emergency situation. As this will use more battery, it will automatically turn off after 15 minutes.

The alarm and receiver both come with molded cases and accessories such as braid, belt clip, and pick clip.

All Delkim visual indication systems work with the Txi-D but it has dedicated D-lok and Safe-D bars.

The Black Box storage box fits on the old Delkim and the new Delkim D.
