This board has been specifically designed for fishing octopuses. Thanks to the specific location of the lead, it always lands on the bottom points up, thus limiting hooks. The central rod is used to perfectly hold a bait in place (sardine, crab, chicken leg). From the shore, after casting, just slowly retrieve the board on the bottom. It is also possible to fish from a boat taking advantage of a slow drift that will cover a lot of ground. Attracted by the bait and the octopus's white color, the octopus wraps the whole set in its tentacles. At the slightest resistance, the four sharp spikes of great solidity will penetrate deeply into the octopus's flesh and allow it to drag it out forcefully from its hiding place. Simple and extremely effective! For more success, the set can be embellished with a red and white fabric placed 20 - 30 cm from the board.
