The PENTAX VD 4X20 WP are multifunction binoculars with a unique three-in-one design. As conventional binoculars, they offer a solid and enlarged view of the subject. In addition, they feature the world's first detachable design (*Based on RICOH Imaging research in July 2020.), which allows the user to separate the two bodies to use them independently or together. The separation of the bodies allows the PENTAX VD 4X20 WP to function as two independent monoculars that can be shared by two observers. Or, by connecting the bodies in sequence, it operates as a high power telescope with a 16 times magnification.
The left and right barrels separate from the center, and each can be used as an individual monocular. This way, you can admire distant landscapes together and share the same feeling of excitement.
Detachable construction
When the 4X magnification is not sufficient for observing stars or distant landscapes, attach the end of each monocular to make it a 16X telescope
