Lightweight logistic and tactical plastic case for: Ammunition (small, medium and large weapons), pyrotechnics, explosives, countermeasures, flare guns and weapons, etc... It allows the storage of ammunition, ammunition storage, cartridge box, storage and preservation, hardware, tools, hunting scope, rifles, pistols, valuables, geo-caching and hunting accessories. The new lightweight and innovative ammunition crates from PPD (LWAC®) are based on a newly patented design from PPD and specially developed raw material resins from PPD that meet all military requirements and standards.

The advantages are numerous, but the most important is the direct cost reduction thanks to the following elements

• Reduced weight, more than 68% lower than existing steel boxes. For example, the packaging weight of 1,000,000 .50 caliber cartridges will be reduced by 16.5 tons!
• Improved stackability, allowing for 90° cross stacking and vertical stacking
• Improved thermal capacity, with reduced heat transfer
• Prepared for integrated RFID labels for tracking and control.
• Low noise during handling and contact with steel surfaces
• No risk of sparks
• Fully compatible with existing steel boxes

The LWAC is perfect for 12.7mm/0.50Cal and smaller ammunition. It has a flat bottom for better storage, which allows you to put ammunition boxes in it without risks of tilting.
