Binoculars Features: The 10x42 Terra ED Zeiss binoculars combine SCHOTT ED glasses with a compact and waterproof case to create a versatile optic offering image quality and a sleek silhouette worthy of the Carl Zeiss name.
The Terra ED is the third line of binoculars to enrich the range of the optics manufacturer from Wetzlar. They complete a range already counting the popular Conquest and the legendary Victory. Carl Zeiss Sport Optics' engineers have designed the Terra ED for birdwatchers and hunters looking for affordable equipment while retaining the qualities of a Zeiss optic.
The SCHOTT ED lenses are designed to maximise light transmission and render an image rich in contrast. Thanks to the adoption of Schmidt-Pechan type roof prisms and a lightweight composite chassis, these binoculars weigh 725g. The Terra EDs are nitrogen filled, which prevents fogging and makes them waterproof to a depth of about 3 meters.
This model offers an incredible viewing experience thanks to its x10 magnification and its comfortable eye relief of 15mm. The small close focus distance (from 1.6 m) allows you to get very close to the bird or subject observed. These binoculars also offer excellent ergonomics thanks to their central focusing wheel and their twist-up eyecups, probably making the Terra ED the best mid-range binocular on the market.

Quick releases allow you to attach and detach the carrying strap extremely quickly.
For your convenience, the ends remaining on the binoculars can be tied to form a strap, enabling to hold the binoculars more securely even when you do not wear them around your neck.
