Founded in Hatfield Peverel, England in 1992 by David Rudin, William Jelbart, Jeffrey Powell, and John Campbell, the firm JRC Product Ltd was originally specialized in the production of bedchairs known for their reliability and practicality. Upon its creation, JRC was led by its co-founder, Jeff Powell, who had developed the iconic COCOON and then the STEALTH. Enjoying unprecedented success, the JRC brand developed new products in the early 2000s, including the STI BROLLY carp rods, the TERRY HEARN COCOON bedchair, and the QUAD shelter. In 2007, the JRC brand was purchased by SHAKESEARE company and moved to Redditch, in the Worcestershire, a small English county. JRC then joined the portfolio of brands belonging to the PURE FISHING Inc group. Today, the JRC brand is still based in England and relies on the design and development of smart products to satisfy the most passionate carp anglers.
