Equipped with features typically associated with "Custom" rods, the Wild Trolling series offers uncompromising performance for targeting marine predators such as Amberjack and Dentex. With Okuma's IST (Individual Section Technology) construction, the Wild Trolling rod has a blank in one section for increased sensitivity and strength, while retaining a pleasant weight. The backbone of the rod is reinforced by the spiral construction that allows the rod to stay in line when bringing fish up from the depths. Other components of the Wild Trolling bear the same attention to detail: the blank is equipped with high-quality Fuji MNSG SiC rings and a double-locking Fuji graphite reel seat. During battles, the Fuji graphite gimbal butt cap stabilises the rod. The Wild Trolling series includes two rods whose actions and power are optimised for the target species.
