The Hoverjet is a multifunctional surface lure. With its aerodynamic shape, it is designed to cast like a bullet. When its flaps are closed, the Hoverjet functions as a stickbait, moving from left to right on the surface of the water with no effort. With its flaps open, the Hoverjet transforms into a prop-bait, the flaps spin like a propeller producing a splash noise and a wide bubble trail. The Hoverjet can also be used by violently jerking it, then pausing to create a loud noise that will attract fish from afar. It is possible to close and open the flaps very quickly to deceive a fish that has risen to the lure but is wary or undecided about attacking. The Hoverjet changes from stickbait to prop-bait in the blink of an eye.
