The Merger LRF XQ35 are as compact as classic daytime binoculars, ideal for extended hunts. Being the lightest in their range, the Merger LRF XQ35 are practical for game searching and driven hunting. The uniform distribution of the binoculars weight allows for uniform loading in the hunter's hands for comfortable observation without fatigue - even from the least comfortable positions.
The Merger LRF thermal imaging binoculars are designed in the design of classic daytime binoculars. With their reduced form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars are perfectly adapted to the hand size, while displaying an attractive aesthetic and ideal ergonomics. The six control buttons are located in an easily accessible area and the most used digital functions are activated by a simple press.
The Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with the high sensitivity Lynred sensor (NETD < 25 mK) made in Europe, capable of capturing a useful high quality signal under difficult observation conditions, when the thermal contrast is low. The slightest temperature differences are clearly detected, even in the rain, in fog or at a high atmospheric humidity at the observation site.
Use the contrast and brightness settings to optimize the level of detail and the image data according to the observation conditions. The User Mode records your brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory to directly find an optimal image quality at the next start of the thermal device, without having to make any additional adjustment.
Observation in the dark requires you to stay covered so that the hunted animals are not alerted by your presence. Going into standby thanks to the screen shutdown function is a classic way to prevent backlighting through the eyepiece. To simplify this task, the Merger LRFs have an integrated proximity sensor. It acts as a display switch to prevent exposure to backlighting in the dark. When the device moves away from your eyes, the proximity sensor turns off both screens; and when the device gets closer, the two screens light up to present their excellent image quality.
The LRF is designed for extended and often extreme use. The magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and resistant. The structure of the appliance effectively protects its internal components from shocks, falls, moisture, heat or cold. In addition, the metal in the structure effectively dissipates the heat emitted by the electronics and increases the stability of the appliance's operation during prolonged observation.
Knowing the distance to the target is an essential factor for making the right decisions. An integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances by simple measurement or continuous scanning with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for a quick and error-free evaluation of the situation.
The Merger LRF are powered by two rechargeable batteries: one integrated with a capacity of 4 Ah, the other replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees a long battery life. The relief on the body of the replaceable battery serves as a guide for correct placement and allows you to quickly and confidently replace a discharged battery in total darkness.
