Shiny nylon thread with parallel strands, featuring slightly textured fibres. It's one of the most widely used products: it acts as exuviae in emergers, as a hot-spot in parachutes, and in some dry flies, to adjust the wing density according to needs. Mixing two different colours, visibility can be increased under different water and light conditions.
