The ED lenses of the lens will allow you to reduce chromatic aberrations, for accurate color reproduction and increased resolution and contrast.
XLT (Fully Multi-Coated Optics) coating. The XLT treatment will allow you to maximize light transmission through the optical path for brighter images and an increase in resolution and contrast. The Regal M2 65 ED spotting scope features a BaK4 prism.
Magnesium alloy body, durable and resistant material, lighter than traditional aluminum alloys.

Rotating collar. Allows the eyepiece to be oriented in the best position for observation.
The 16-48x zoom eyepiece has adjustable magnification, offering a wide field for general or detailed observation when necessary. The twist-up eyecup will allow the user's eye to be properly positioned, for comfortable viewing with or without glasses.
The standard sliding 31.75mm thread allows for the mounting of various astronomy eyepieces on the spotting scope.
A T adapter is included to facilitate the mounting of digital SLR 35mm cameras.
The sliding dew shield has a sight line, it blocks straight light rays and allows to protect the lens from moisture. The sight line will help you easily find the subject you wish to observe.
