The MB Sprint Stick rods are part of the prestigious Master Build Taiwalk series. 100% made in Japan, these rods were created in collaboration with Hideyuki Katamura - one of the most well-known specimen anglers in Japan.

Born from this partnership with the man nicknamed Charmas Kitamura, the Sprint Sticks were specifically designed for tuna fishing. They are made on the basis of ultra-responsive carbon blanks with a fast action to correspond to the particular defence style of tuna - one of the swiftest and most powerful fish in the world. The curvature remains very progressive for improved angler comfort, but the pressure applied by the angler during short pumps is considerable. Rods that hurt the fish - not the angler!

A range of rods of such exceptional quality is a veritable summary of all the Tailwalk know-how. MB Sprint Stick: controlled power. You too, experience the superior class of the legendary Master Build series!

A power monster capable of supporting up to 17 kg of drag - which is considerable! Enough to restrain very large red tunas and decisively counter their runs. Its specific bend with a phenomenal power reserve allows you to handle large specimens without exhausting the angler. Capable of casting lures up to 150 g, this rod ideal for large tunas will also be perfect for catching beautiful amberjacks and forcefully restraining enormous GTs or large red carps above the coral heads.
