A series of rods specifically designed for lure fishing in exotic locations or for the significant French pelagic species (tuna, amberjacks). These aesthetically subtle and high-quality rods are 100% manufactured and assembled in Japan.
The Kuroshio rods have a characteristic of having a soft tip that loads easily to reach great casting distances - even with relatively light lures. Ideal for staying a safe distance from hunts and to prospect over larger areas! This soft tip makes these rods perfect for manipulating stickbaits or poppers as it prevents these topwaters from jumping out of the water during retrieve. An action that also makes them ideal for minnow jigs or for sinking stickbaits.
Their ultra-progressive blank with a strong power reserve at the heel makes it easy to control powerful fish while greatly limiting hook-loss. This progressivity with a strong power reserve at the heel also has the benefit of preventing excessive fatigue for the angler during the fight.
The length of the heel was calculated to offer maximum range during casting and optimal comfort when animating the lure under the armpit. Its size also allows for perfect positioning of the reel during the fight when the rod is in a belt. The Kuroshio rods are equipped with reinforced Fuji Sic PKWSG rings mounted on the blank with double whippings for maximum strength. The Fuji DPS reel seat is very light but ultra-strong.
This rod has the peculiarity of having a soft tip that can cast relatively light lures (40 g) for long distances while accepting weights up to 100 g. It is ideal for fishing red tuna up to 30 kg, albacore or sizeable frigate mackerel. An excellent rod in exotics for jacks, roosterfish, yellowfin tuna, etc...
