The Okuma Deep Impact rod is fully dedicated to vertical fishing with soft baits. The rod is fitted with a high modulus carbon blank, designed for this technique: sensitive enough for compromise-free lure control yet powerful enough for efficient hooking even at great depths. The thin blank is equipped with a high-quality Fuji reel seat and SeaGuide New Concept rings to minimise line friction. The Okuma rubber gimbal enhances rod stability when landing fish from the depths. For optimum performance, pair the Deep Impact with Cavalla, Cedros or Tesoro Spinning reels.
