Work on this legendary lure began in 2006. The need to create a new quality of soft lures was born out of the clear imperfections in the lures available at the time, as well as the ideas and needs that emerged during long hours of predator fishing using the spinning method. The first prototypes focused on creating an innovative shape for the lure, rethinking the body-tail-blade layout to deliver a highly aggressive response, perceptible from the moment the lure drops. The thickened, overcharged body in combination with an enlarged tail surface created a wholly new dynamic, resulting in an extremely strong hydroacoustic wave that more effectively provokes predators to attack. The other idea was to design a ‘nest’ in the front part of the soft lure, shaping itself to the head of the leaded head by ‘sucking’ its part in, which improved aerodynamics and reduced the problem of the lure disconnecting after an unsuccessful predator attack. Then came the time to select the composition and consistency of the plastic from which the Fishunter was to be made, aiming to strike the ideal balance between the elasticity and durability of the blend. After many trials and tests, the first version of the Fishunter was born, introduced in our catalogue for the 2007 season. This product proved to be such an effective lure for predators that it became an instant bestseller on the spinning market and remains today the foundation of the fishing arsenal used by spinning enthusiasts all across Europe.
