The Rippler is a product of Uli Beyer's collection of ideas. The goal was to combine a large silhouette with reduced weight and optimal performance features. The complex ribbing proved to be a real challenge in mould construction, which is why such a lure did not yet exist.
The slanted and deeply cut ribs help improve aerodynamics and significantly reduce weight. Moreover, mobility is maintained and the lure can easily fold in the predator's mouth.
The 16 cm Rippler can be used for jigging as well as lure fishing. Predominantly targeted fish are pike and zander.
Operation WITH the tail tip: If you keep the tail tip on the bait, you get a slow-motion action which is particularly beneficial for big predators and for winter fishing (the bait should not be too agitated).
Operation WITHOUT the tail tip: If you remove the tail tip, you'll get a nimble and powerful movement. In most situations (especially during warm periods), this lure action is recommended for you. You can easily tear off the end of the tail (see diagram).
