The Smallmouth Bass is a fresh water fish from North America much appreciated from the Centrarchidae family (including the Bass). It's a formidable predator that feeds on fish, invertebrates and small aquatic animals. It can reach a length of about 20”, although larger specimens have been recorded. The species is brown to lightly olive in colour, with scattered bars or stripes on the side. The Smallmouth Bass is prized by fishermen for their acrobatic fights and pure strength.
