Translated into English, the name Sømmet means "the nail" This slender lure is one of the favorites among die-hard sea trout fishermen in some parts of Scandinavia. It might resemble a nail, but in the water, it is a perfect imitation of sandeels - perhaps the most important prey of big sea trout in shallow water.

Tip: Run your line through the lure while taking care to protect the knot connection with the barrel swivel with a bead. We recommend mounting the hook using a split ring.
