Solar Tackle's heritage in Rod Pods is well known, and we think we have made the ultimate in terms of versatility, functionality and appearance with the new Universal pod. This product takes on the main features of all previous solar pods (such as the Worldwide, Globetrotter, etc.) and pushes the boundaries further. Precisely designed and manufactured in the UK, it is packed with features and can be adapted to all fishing styles. Not only is the height and angle of each leg adjustable, but the leg mounts can also be positioned anywhere along the twin main bars.
• Precisely designed and manufactured in the UK • Two extendable main bars for more stability. The main bar extends from 95 cm to 1.6 m • Solar's unique ratchet adjustment system for individual leg adjustment • Each leg adjustment bridge is mobile and can be fixed at any point along the main bars • Loc-down anchor points on the front and rear deck sections • Foldable risers, allowing the pod to fold flat • 14 cm tall rear risers and 11 cm tall front risers • 16-inch and 20-inch adjustable feet with captive wing screws and new Ground-Probe points • Euro feet are made from thicker diameter stainless steel for greater strength and stability on the larger frame, compared to the universal pod • Weight: 6.3 kg
