The OPTIMA S AN is a shorter version of our popular OPTIMA AN. This 360 natural bait rod is perfect for those seeking a short rod, whether it's for fishing with a natural fly or a grub, but also for occasionally making some casts with artificial nymphs. We've specifically worked on the rod's action to make it rather flexible at the tip, which favours the casting of small baits or nymphs but with a butt maintaining a certain reserve of power, which is important when you need to quickly control a fish. This rod has been built on a blank in 3 equal breaks thanks to top quality materials and has been dressed in a turquoise "blue" lagoon varnish, a colour used on Garbolino products for decades. (missing verb...). The lower part of the butt is covered with cork and you can, through our sliding tubular reel seat, position your toc reel wherever you want: at the very bottom, to privilege a balance just under the hand, or rather at the top for those of you who prefer holding the whole rod and reel in hand. The rod includes 12 Match type rings with a raised ultra-light frame and very fine Titanium Oxide ceramics whose weight is negligible.
