This ingenious system is the modernization of the classic Drakovich dead fish rig, but adapted for soft shad rigs. A weight placed inside the belly of the lure, anchored at two spots (on the nose and the abdomen) and armed with a treble hook at the back, increases the efficiency of hook setting. The weight situated beneath the lure allows for more mobility and naturalness, compared to traditional jig head rigs, while ensuring better hook setting and fewer loss of catches.
