The Prop Fish Sunfish and Prop Fish Shad from Lunkerhunt have been designed from two of the most popular forage species among freshwater fish. Like the Prop Frog, they have a hollow body made of soft plastic. What makes the Lunkerhunt Prop Fish unique is its single propeller system. This single propeller system has a subtler action than the double propeller system of the Prop Frog. During retrieval, the Prop Fish has a surface churning action that closely mimics baitfish breaking the surface, as well as cutting through and around cover. The Prop Fish excels when the fish are under pressure, frightened, and very shallow. Its "weedless" hook system and streamlined shape allow it to effectively sneak through and under the cover, enabling it to reach difficult to access places where no other "prop bait" has ventured so far.
