Le plomb « Corkscrew » est doté d'une attache de type tire-bouchon. Le meilleur de tous les moyens connus pour maintenir l'appât souple sur le plomb. Ce type de plombs est souvent complété par un hameçon triple , dont l'avantage incontestable est qu’il limite les décroches et rend la pénétration la plus efficace.
