The Axion 2 thermal imaging device employs a new approach to image optimization that depends on goals and observation conditions. It provides high-quality rendering of target objects and background. The three levels of signal amplification combined with a smoothing filter and precise contrast and brightness settings give the hunter beautiful opportunities for long-distance animal detection under different temperature and pressure conditions, and determine its trophy qualities.

The Axion is designed for constant use, often demanding. Its magnesium alloy coating is both lightweight and durable. It protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device from shocks, splashes, moisture, heat and cold. In addition, a metal structure dissipates the heat from the electronic components, minimizes the image noise and increases the regularity of operation of the device during prolonged observation.

The F35/1.0 germanium lens offers high transmission in the long infrared field. Thanks to the high manufacturing precision of the lens's optical elements, the image generated by the Axion 2 thermal device's sensor stands out for its sharpness and detail level.

A high-capacity rechargeable APS5 battery provides 11 hours of continuous operation of the device with a single charge. The battery is removed from its compartment and replaced in a few seconds. The battery recharges using its charger or inside the device from a PC, a domestic charger or an external battery via USB-C. These same sources are used for external power of a thermal imaging device.

In the Axion 2 thermal imager, the standard frequency band for smartphone connection via a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel, is complemented by an efficient 5 GHz band. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, protects from noise and the connection stability is better, which results in better productivity and easier operation of the thermal device with a smartphone.

Use the contrast and brightness settings to optimize the level of detail and image data according to observation conditions.
The User Mode saves your brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory to directly find optimal image quality at the next start of the thermal device, this without having to make additional settings.

The powerful F35/1.0 lens combined with the high sensitivity thermal imaging sensor offers exceptional detection capabilities. A standard size object of 1.8 m can be detected up to a distance of 1750 m in total darkness.

The Axion 2 has an economical format for a weight of 300 grams. The device is easy to handle and manipulate for both right-handed and left-handed people thanks to its symmetrical design and the alignment of the buttons on its top face.
