We needed a solution that would protect us from wind and heat while providing enough breathability to keep us dry and comfortable throughout our activities - in other words, we needed a layer that we could put on in the morning without thinking about it for the rest of the day. The Mountain Evo is therefore 100% windproof in key areas such as the chest and hood, to prevent the wind from taking hold of the precious warmth and energy of the body. In addition, four-way stretch panels, carefully placed in the back and under the arms, enable you to quickly dissipate heat and move without restriction. By strategically combining these elements, we have created a jacket that remains comfortable even in changing weather conditions and at various activity levels - a jacket that you will never need to take off.
Backcountry hunting and other high-exertion mountain activities require more from your outerwear. You need protection from the elements, but also gear that moves with you and breathes easily without weighing you down. We designed this lightweight technical jacket with WINDSTOPPER® by GORE-TEX LABS technology in the areas that require the most protection, while incorporating stretch panels in areas that require movement and breathability, such as the underarms and back.
