The cold and harsh winds demanded high-performance insulation for the upper body, that could be layered under waders and overalls without being cumbersome. Our approach was to block the wind with WINDSTOPPER® technology from GORE-TEX LABS, while optimising heat retention and mobility through the use of PrimaLoft® Gold insulation with Cross Core™ technology in the torso and sleeves. This advanced insulant offers an excellent weight-to-warmth ratio, the aesthetics and performance of down, while giving optimal warmth even when wet. A compression-resistant fleece was used on the lower torso to facilitate storage under the waders or overalls. This heated garment, combining 100% windproof fabric with insulation similar to down, was our solution to keep you warm and allow you to move freely, while offering many layering options.
Designed to be one of your most potent weapons against end-of-season wind and cold, the Duck Oven retains significant warmth whilst offering maximum freedom of movement when worn under waders or an overall. It offers a dual thermal advantage: WINDSTOPPER® technology from GORE-TEX LABS shields you from icy gusts and PrimaLoft® Gold insulation with Cross Core™ technology retains heat at the torso and sleeves. The lower third in compression-resistant fleece is contoured to easily slip under waders or an overall.
